The Best Holidays Ever

                                                                                 



My best holiday was in the mountains, near Pichirrincon in San Fabian de Alico this summer. I went in March for three days with my cousins, my sister, my brother, and my uncle. 
Since Pinchirrincon you can go to the Andes mountains, that was what we made. For this, we have to go with two guides and ride a horse for 8 hours, passing through rivers, slopes, and cliffs. The road was very dangerous and I felt scared all the time. 

When we arrived at the camp place, it was late and we were so tired that barely can move. In there we put together the tents and cook our dinner. After that, we go to sleep. The other day, we go to a river with thermal waters and take a rest. The place was very beautiful and relaxing, with a great view of the mountains and the sky was so blue and clean that breathe in there was a wonder. Finally, on the third day, we sorted our thing and we left the place. 

This trip was my favorite because was very rescue and amazing, it was a total adventure in nature, a lonely place far away from the city and the noise.

    Good. There are some sentences structure and verb tenses that you need to check, for example: You can go from P. to the Andes....; we went to sleep; The next day, we went to...and took a rest... it was wonderful; and in the last paragraph, because was very risky and....

A Country That I Would Like to Visit

  My dream is to travel to Greece for vacations and stay here for a month and thus get to know every corner of the country. The thing that I Know about Greece is that this country is very interesting and diverse due to having beautiful landscapes, volcanoes, beaches and a lot of history. One of the reasons why I wanna go to this country is that I love learning about history and Greece is considered the cradle of western culture therefore if I can go someday I would learn a lot in this place. Moreover, the other reason is that I really enjoy making trekking in nature, especially the hills, and Greece has a lot of hills and mountains to do that. In this way, once in there,  I would like to spend a whole day in Mykonos swimming in the sea and taking sunbathes. On the other days, I would like to take different city tours to archeological sites like the Parthenon, Delphi, The acropolis of Athens, and many others.

My Favorite Object

Without a doubt my favorite object is my Kindle, this is a small and very light electronic reader. One of its many advantages and that is also what sets it apart from other devices such as tablets    or ipads, is that it has electronic ink which makes the screen looks like a page of paper. This allows me to be reading more comfortably for a whole day and without getting tired of my eyes or my head hurts, as is often the case with the computer screen. I think that it's a comfortable and friendly way to read without having to print all the texts, buy books or be in front of the screen for a long time. In my career I have to read several texts every week, so this device has really saved my life, plus the battery lasts quite a bit (I charge it every 2 weeks approximately) and being small its size I can easily take it everywhere.

My Autobiography

  I am Raquel Zuñiga Bauerle, my birth is on april 11 and I'm 18 years old. I was born in Parral, Chile and I've lived my whole life there. I've lived wiht my parents and my big brother, I also have a sister but she is older than my brother and i, so she lives alone in Santiago. At elementary and high school, I studied at Colegio San Jose de Parral, a catholic school in my town. Now, i'm studyin first year of anthropology at Universidad de Chile. In my free time I like to watch series and movies on Netflix or in another streaming platform.  I love Quentin Tarantino and Stanley Kubrick movies, i think that they are very fascinating.
